I am writing you a note to say thanks. I purhased a 2010 Chalet a year ago April. A little history: I bought a new Winnebago in 1989 from A&M RV in Anchorage. The purchase was relatively painless. My wife and I enjoyed it for 17 years. Like some dealers, as soon as the big sale was made, the dealership wasn't so happy to see me anymore. We had very few problems with the motorhome, but it was frustrating dealing with A&M after the warranty ran out. Most of the time, I would fix it myself or take it to a different shop.

We sold the Winnebago in 2006 and bought a new Nash trailer from ABC. Once again the sale was fine, and I feel we got a reasonable deal. We owned it for about 3 years and had very few problems, but when we did, it was an ordeal to get resolved. Common was a 2 to 3 week wait for an appointment. Most of the time the trailer would go back again for the same problem. That really cut into the already short Alaskan summer.

We realized how much we missed the motorhome. A year before we purchased the Chalet, I started stopping by Great Alaskan Holidays and getting to know the salespeople. I found them to be friendly, and always ready to answer questions and not pushy, even though they must have thought I was a tire kicker. If someone told me 10 years ago that I would buy a used motorhome, I would have told them they were crazy. After checking out the rental models on your showroom floor, and having been shown the shop in the back and the ongoing maintenance program, they changed my mind.

Now, the best part of owning the Chalet from Great Alaskan Holidays is the stellar way we have been treated - before, during, and after the purchase. This experience has changed my mind about dealerships. Not only was Gary great to work with in Sales, but also the guys in Parts, and Service. You should be proud of the excellent staff you have. We love the motorhome and will be buying our next RV from Great Alaskan Holidays. I'm happy to recommend your business to other prosepctive buyers, renters, and those looking for good service.
